Week 3: EV Performance and Range

  • Performance and Range simulations

Week 4: EV Motors and Inverters

  • Electric Motor types, Inverters, and Control Electronics.

Week 5: EV Battery and Charging

  • Battery types. Charging: regular vs. fast charging.

Week 6: Economics of EV Ownership

  • Total cost of ownership (Initial & Operating)
  • EVSave, a cost-model estimation tool developed by EV Academy

Week 7: EV SW, Security, Safety, and Standards

  • Increasing role of SW. Cybersecurity. Safety and Standards.
